Inside the Storm: A time-lapse of Kilauea eruption
LEILANI ESTATES, Hawaii (KOKH) —
Kilauea continues erupting in the Leilani Estates as the sun rises this morning.
The vents have continued to open up and spew lava from them. Trees, houses, roads and everything else is being completely overcome and burned.
Sulfur dioxide is also an issue with this eruption. The gas is an effluence of volcanic eruptions and is extremely toxic. It will sicken, and potentially suffocate everyone who breathes enough of it in.
