Emily is an Emmy-nominated, award winning reporter from Houston, TX.

She joined the FOX 25 team in March 2017. She enjoys reporting breaking news as a weekday reporter. Before joining the team at FOX 25, Emily was a reporter/anchor with Fox 46, Charlotte, NC. At FOX 46, Emily covered the 2016 Presidential primaries, the city wide protests resulting from the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott and anchored the Good Day Charlotte show on weekends.

Emily served the Temple, Killeen and Waco, Texas market with KAVU-Newscenter 25. She covered a wide variety of breaking news stories including the aftermath of the West fertilizer plant explosion, the 2014 Fort Hood Shooting and the shootout involving rival motorcycle clubs at the Twin Peaks Restaurant in Waco, TX. Emily received a nomination for an Emmy on her story, "Texans for Medical Marijuana".

Emily’s first news position after graduation from college was serving the Victoria,Texas community where she gained the respect of the community reporting, producing and anchoring the news.

Emily received her BA degree in Broadcast Journalism from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. There, she interned with KTRK, Channel 13 in her hometown of Houston, TX. Emily is a native Houstonian. Although, a true Texas girl, Emily now proudly calls Oklahoma City home. She looks forward to serving the friendly folks and community of OKC.

Emily enjoys spinning, hanging out with friends exploring the wonderful eateries of OKC and spending time with her two pups, Toby and Jackson.
