Mike Gundy will receive a pay raise after his brief flirtation with several universities this week, reports show.

The Tulsa World reports that the Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents approved an addendum to the Oklahoma State head coach's contract bringing his salary in 2018 to $5 million.

Gundy reportedly turned down a large contract to take over as head coach at the University of Tennessee this week. He was set to earn $4.35 million in 2018 in a contract that he reworked over the summer. As part of that salary, he is set to earn more money each year of the contract.

The Tulsa World report shows that if Gundy should leave Oklahoma State before his contract expires his buyout has been increased from $3 million to $5 million. The Cowboys finished the regular season 9-3.
