Thunder release official 2016-2017 schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially released the 2016-2017 schedule.

The team kicks off the season Oct. 26 on the road against the Philadephia 76ers. The Thunder will make their season debut at Chesapeake Arena Oct. 28 as they host the Phoenix Suns.

The Thunder will face off against former star Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors for the first time Nov. 3 in Oakland. The teams then meet again Jan. 18 in Oakland and Durant makes his return to Oklahoma City Saturday February 11. Durant will again return to Oklahoma City March 20 for the team's last meeting of the year.

The Thunder will once again play on Christmas Day as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Lebron James and the defending champions comes to Oklahoma City Thursday, February 9. Serge Ibaka and the Orlando Magic will come to town November 13.
