The Thunder have officially acquired the draft rights to guard Hamidou Diallo.

The team acquired Diallo in a draft night trade with the Charlotte Hornets. In exchange for the guard, the Hornets will receive a 2019 second-round draft pick and cash considerations.

The teams were not allowed to make the deal official until July 6. Diallo was the 45th overall pick out of the University of Kentucky. He averaged 10 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game as a redshirt freshman.
