Police say a woman shot and killed a man that had entered her home and threatened her with a knife.

The Oklahoma City Police Department was called to a shooting just after 6 a.m. Nov. 29 at the Meridian Sooner trailer park.

Boyd Ray Quisenberry, 39, was found dead from gunshot wounds inside a mobile home in the 4900 block of Royal Creek Road. After an investigation, police learned that Quisenberry had previously been married to the woman who lived at the home.

Quisenberry allegedly entered the home and armed himself with a knife, threatening the woman. The woman then retrieved a pistol and shot Quisenberry. Police interviewed the woman on scene and released her.

The case will be presented to the Oklahoma County District Attorney who will determine if charges will be filed against the woman. Quisenberry's death is considered the 81st homicide of 2017 in Oklahoma City.
