Russian fighter jet intercepts U. S. Navy plane
A U. S. Navy reconnaissance aircraft was reportedly intercepted by a Russian fighter jet Monday.
The American aircraft was flying in international airspace over the Black Sea when it happened.
Officials say the Russian jet passed directly in front of the Navy plane at a high speed.
The jet then made a second pass and used its afterburner.
In the video-- you see the fire from the jet's afterburner as it is applied while passing the Navy's aircraft.
That caused turbulence for the U. S. crew.
The U. S. Navy called the move "unsafe" saying the Russians' action put the American pilots and crew at risk.
