Georgia: Massive sinkhole swallowing gas station
This gas station in Gwinnett County, Georgia started collapsing into a sinkhole back in May of last year and has already been condemned.
The sinkhole was reportedly caused by a creek running underneath the parking lot.
But recent rain has made it much larger.
The property was foreclosed-on and has a new owner, who told the nearby city of Buford that the hole will be fixed and the building torn down.
City officials say two nearby roads are safe and have not been jeopardized by the sinkhole.
