Florida: Broward County brush fire
Firefighters continue to monitor a brush fire burning in south Florida.
This was the scene Friday afternoon in Broward County in the Florida Everglades District.
The fire - burning parallel to Interstate 75 - is about three-quarters of a mile from the roadway.
The Florida Forest Service says the blaze has charred about 800 acres.
Officials say the fire is not threatening any structures, and roads are still open.
Earlier concerns of winds stoking the fire have subsided.
It's not known what sparked the fire.
