NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - A Middle Tennessee police department is looking for volunteers to get drunk for free.

The Coopertown Police Department is seeking six volunteers to drink alcohol of their choosing in an effort to help the department with a day of DUI training.

According to Smokey Barn News which first reported the program, volunteers will need to 'work' the full day and police will pick up and drop off volunteers at their destinations to make sure they are safe.

The training class, known as a "wet lab" will take place in June. Sgt. Justin Parker told Smokey Barn volunteers just shouldn't expect "top shelf" alcohol.

Anyone interested in signing up for the lab should call Sgt. Parker at 615-382-7007 ext. 204.
