A family was kicked off a flight over birthday cake. JetBlue is standing by its decision.

WASHINGTON (CIRCA) - JetBlue says it is standing by its decision to boot a New Jersey family from a May 3 flight departing from John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The family told ABC affiliate WABC that they were kicked off JetBlue Flight 611 to Las Vegas because of a birthday cake they initially stored in an overhead bin.
