Tasty Tuesday: Crock-pot Tumeric Chicken


Crockpot Cinnamon Turmeric Chicken

1 onion chopped

2-3 carrots, peeled and chopped

2 sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped

2 pounds of chicken, boneless and skinless

1 can low sodium diced tomatoes

1 can low sodium chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 Tbsp turmeric

1 Tbsp cinnamon

1 Tbsp cumin

1 Tbsp paprika

1 Tbsp parsley

1 tsp red pepper flake

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt


1. Plug in crockpot and set on 4hrs.

2. Place all ingredients in the the crockpot and stir

3. Serve with brown rice or diced cauliflower
