WILD WEDNESDAY: OKC Zoo ambassador animal hangs out in the FOX 25 rafters
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
An ambassador animal from the Oklahoma City Zoo decided to stick around and hang out for a few hours in the rafters of the FOX 25 studios.
FOX 25 featured "Muppet" the Tawny frogmouth bird on today's Wild Wednesday segment. Following the segment, Muppet flew to the rafters of the studio. Oklahoma City Zoo Curator of Behavior and Enrichment Kim Leser told FOX 25 that Muppet was very comfortable, and curious, in the FOX 25 studios.
Muppet stuck around until the conclusion of "Living Oklahoma" when the studio was able to be cleared. After nearly two hours, Zoo employees were able to retrieve Muppet and take her back to the zoo.
