What you need to know for Inauguration of Governor-elect Kevin Stitt

If you're planning on attending the inauguration of Governor-elect Kevin Stitt, there's a few things you should keep in mind on Monday.
The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Monday Jan. 14 and will take place on the south side of the Oklahoma Capitol.
The event is open to the public, but people interested in going are encouraged to RSVP at oklahomaturnaround.com.
Will seats at the event be assigned?
No, seating is first come, first served. People interested in attending the event are encouraged to arrive and be seated by 11 a.m.
Are there any items I can't bring to the event?
Gifts for the Governor or any state officials will not be permitted. No large bags or any drones will be allowed at the event either.
Can I take photos of the event?
Yes, the public is encouraged to take pictures during the ceremony.
Will there be interpreters at the ceremony?
Yes, interpreters for the hearing impaired will be on site and located on the west side of the platform.
Will there be a reception after the ceremony?
Yes, there will be a free reception inside the capitol where attendees can meet the new governor, first lady and state-wide elected officials.
