Storms buckle section of Main Street in Norman
NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH) —
Part of Main Street in Norman is shut down after a bridge buckled in Tuesday's severe storms.
Norman police say the 4300 block of W. Main is impassable this morning. Officials couldn't say if the damage was caused by wind or rain, only that it was "weather related."
Construction officials tell FOX 25 they were supposed to rebuild this section of bridge and canal starting in about two months. Silver Star Construction Company officials say the bridge could be closed for about a week, possibly longer.
