Voters head to polls to elect next Oklahoma City mayor

The next mayor of Oklahoma City could be named by the end of Tuesday.

Voters will cast their ballots for three candidates vying to replace Mick Cornett, who will not seek reelection after four terms in office. The three candidates are State Senator David Holt, University of Oklahoma student Taylor Neighbors and Randall Smith.

A candidate must get 50 percent of the vote or more to win the election outright today. If not, the candidates will go to a general election on April 3.

Polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7 p.m. Stay with FOX 25 for the latest polling updates.
