Two earthquakes rattle northern part of state


The United States Geological Survey or USGS reported two earthquakes within 12 minutes of each other at around 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

The quakes both happened in Alfalfa county the first one at 5:50 a.m. and located just over nine miles southwest of Helena measuring 3.1 the second one happened at 6:02 a.m. in about five and half miles southwest of Cherokee and measured 3.3.

There have been no reports of injury or damage
