Tuttle woman accused of fraud, child abuse after lying about daughter having cancer
CHICKASHA, Okla. (KOKH) —
A Tuttle woman faces fraud and child abuse charges after the Grady County Sheriff's Office says she lied about her daughter having cancer to get money.
The sheriff's office arrested Jamie Parker this week.
The Chickasha Express Star reports victims had given Parker cash and other gifts under the impression her daughter had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Deputies say Parker was able to get about $3,500 out of people.
