For children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support.

Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children The Ronald McDonald House at The Children’s Hospital provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.

The Ronald McDonald House at The Children’s Hospital (RMHOKC) was dedicated on Dec. 17, 2014, and served its first families on Jan. 12, 2015. The "house" is Located on the 3rd Floor of Garrison Tower and is connected by a skywalk to The Children’s Hospital. The facility serves families of children being treated at the OU Medical Center campus. Parents and loved ones are able to check on their child any time of the day or night, providing peace of mind and comfort to their child due to the close proximity of this House to their child’s hospital room.

The House features 14 bedrooms and living areas including an Oklahoma City Thunder Playroom for children staying at the House.
