Owasso police have arrested a man they say is responsible for robbing check cashing businesses in Broken Arrow, Muskogee and Owasso.

Andrew William Sluder, 24, was arrested in Owasso and transported to the Muskogee County Jail after Owasso detectives identified him after receiving tips from the public.

Sluder, who is from Muskogee, allegedly entered multiple businesses in the area armed with a gun and demanded money in recent days.

Police had warned they considered him extremely dangerous, as he struck busy locations in crowded areas.

Police had hoped that clear surveillance photos would help identify the man behind the brazen armed robberies.

The Broken Arrow, Muskogee and Owasso police departments say they would like to thank the public for helping them to bring in Sluder.
