Riverwind Casino suffered flooding and wind damage during a severe storm Saturday evening.

Just before 9 p.m. Oct. 21 a tornado-warned storm moved through McClain and Cleveland counties, hitting Goldsby and the area near Riverwind Casino before moving over Norman.

The storm brought roof leaks and flooding to the casino and knocked down power lines and trees in the area. A semi truck crash and downed power lines closed Highway 9 between I-35 and 24 Avenue SW. Reports from inside the casino show that concert attendees for a Beach Boys concert were forced to evacuate when water began leaking from the roof.

The casino confirms that no one was injured in the incident.

The damage is still being assessed at this time.
