Bicyclist hospitalized after morning hit-and-run

Oklahoma City police say a person was injured after a Friday morning hit and run.

The incident was called in just before 6:30 a.m. Feb. 17 near NW 8th and Rockwell.

Police say a white Ford F-150 pulling a trailer westbound on NW 8 Street ran a stop sign and hit another truck pulling a trailer. The crash caused the second truck to hit a bicyclist.

The white F-150 then fled the scene. The truck was later found in the area of NW 7 Street and Woodland, but police were unable to find the driver.

The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
