A woman is accused of stealing various items from a church during a funeral service on Sunday Jan. 13.

Police say they received a report of larceny around 5 p.m. and were told items were missing from Harvest Assembly of God Church, 4019 S. Pennsylvania Ave., following the service.

Police say they were shown video surveillance footage of 35-year-old Angela Michelle Vermillion and three juvenile suspects stealing items from inside the church and sanctuary.

Vermillion and the juvenile suspects are part of the extended family of the deceased, according to a crime report.

Police say $1,500 worth of items, including a guitar and an iPad, were stolen from the church.

Vermillion was booked into Oklahoma County jail on Wednesday on complaints of concealing stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony, felony contributing to delinquency of a minor and grand larceny. She's being held on a $13,000 bond.
