Police: Woman crashes stolen vehicle following pursuit in northwest Oklahoma City

A stolen vehicle crashed into a building following a pursuit Friday in northwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that around 3 p.m. Feb. 9 officers attempted to pull over a stolen vehicle near Rockwell and Northwest Expressway. The vehicle then took off.

The vehicle led police on a pursuit, resulting in multiple accidents before the driver of the vehicle crashed into an apartment building at the Trails at Rockwell, 14600 N. Rockwell.

A female driver was taken into custody. No one was injured during the pursuit. Firefighters have deemed the structure is safe for residents.
