A woman allegedly kidnapped a man she met through an online dating app.

Police responded to a call about a man being chased by a woman with a gun in northwest Oklahoma City at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police made contact with the man in the parking of Route 66 Laundromat, 3634 N.W. 39th St. Officers then located 35-year-old Tiffany Shanelle Henderson and arrested her on complaints of kidnapping, attempting/conspiring or endeavoring to perform acts of violence and transporting a loaded firearm.

Henderson, who admitted to not having a license to carry a firearm, allegedly started acting strange with the man after she dropped her son off. The victim told police she then went to her home to retrieve a gun and placed it in her purse.

The two reportedly headed for McDonald’s, but the man accuses Henderson of becoming angry and threatening him while he was riding in her vehicle.

The victim alleges Henderson told him that “she was going to take him into the country and let her brother deal with him,” while having her hand in her purse where the gun was located, according to a police report.

The man asked to leave multiple times and tried to exit the vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot. The woman sped through the parking lot, however, and out on to Northwest 39th St. to prevent him from leaving.

The man says he was able to escape the car after she stopped at a red light by engaging her vehicle's emergency brakes, unlocking the door and jumping out of the vehicle. The woman allegedly yelled at him and threw water and transmission fluid at him as he fled to the laundromat.

Multiple witnesses say the two threw things at each other, but the victim says she never pointed the gun at him and only made threats.

She tried to hide the gun after the victim fled inside the laundromat and called the police.

Henderson was booked into Oklahoma County Jail. Her bond was set at $54,000.
