Police search for driver involved in Oklahoma City hit-and-run

Oklahoma City police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian then fled the scene.

Police responded to the reported hit-and-run near NW 36th and Penn around 6:30 a.m. Friday. Officers say a white truck hit the victim then sped off.

Investigators say, fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

At this time, police do not have a detailed description of the vehicle in question or the driver.
