Police pursuit ends in Norman after OHP trooper uses pit maneuver

    A police pursuit that began in Oklahoma City ended in Norman near 108th Avenue SE, just south of East Post Oak Road.

    An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper did a pit maneuver, which caused the car to roll over several times and a hit a telephone pole.

    Oklahoma City police say they initially attempted to pull over the vehicle for a traffic violation. The suspect then took off.

    The suspect has been identified as Daydrion Dennis, 25. She was transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained from the crash.

    Dennis has been booked into the Cleveland County Jail for eluding a police officer.
