Police: Man in street shoots at driver after telling him to slow down

Police are investigating a shooting in an east Tulsa neighborhood.

Officers responded to the shooting near 17th and Garnett Monday morning. Police say a man was driving in a neighborhood when someone shouted at him to slow down because he thought he was driving too fast. The person in the street then fired shots at the car and hit the driver.

The driver pulled over to get help and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
