Police: Men accused of stealing jewelry, replacing real items with fake set
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
The Oklahoma City Police Department is searching for two suspects in connection with a larceny case.
Oklahoma City police say the incident occurred at Sam's Club, 1900 W Memorial Rd, on Oct. 12.
The suspects allegedly asked a store clerk to see a set of earrings. Police say the suspects handed the clerk a fake pair of earrings when asked for the real pair back.
The suspects allegedly made off with close to $2,000 worth of jewelry.
Police described one suspect as a black man, wearing a long-sleeve Polo sweatshirt and blue track pants. The second suspect was described by police as either a light-skinned black male or Hispanic male, wearing a black jacket and tattered blue jeans.
