Police investigating shooting in southwest Oklahoma City that left 1 person injured
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Police were called to the scene of a shooting Friday afternoon in southwest Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that at approximately 5:30 p.m. July 6 officers were called to a shooting near SW 43 and Youngs Boulevard where one person was injured. The investigation into the shooting is continuing, but police say two vehicles, a white car and a white pick-up truck were traveling on Youngs Blvd.
For an unknown reason the vehicles stopped near SW 43rd St. and the shooting occurred. The passenger in the car was injured. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the car was not injured and remained at the scene. The pick-up truck left the scene.
