OSBI makes arrest in murder of Spaulding man

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a suspect in a double shooting that resulted in the death of a Spaulding man.

On Aug. 21, 2018, the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office requested the OSBI assist with the investigation.

A shooting occurred at a residence inthe 3900 block of S. 369 Road in the community of Spaulding, Okla. Police found that 54-year-old Johnny Taylor was shot multiple times and was killed.

A 30-year-old female that was at the residence was also shot but survived.

Today, OSBI agents and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force took 25-year-old Ahmad Jacene into custody at the Seminole County Courthouse.

He was booked into the Hughes County Jail and will face a charge of murder in the first degree with deliberate intent.
