OKCPD: Victim identified in SE metro homicide

    Feb. 5, 2019- The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Brownie Daniel Isham.

    No additional details have been released.

    Feb. 1, 2019 10:50 am- Police on the scene have released more details on the body found near SE 31st and Byers around 5:30 am.

    They say a homeowner found the man laying in the grass, called 911, and didn't touch him since she wasn't sure if he was sleeping or dead.

    The man has gunshot wounds but it's uncertain how many times he was shot.

    The woman told officers she didn't hear any gunshots.

    A home across the street does have damage according to officers, with broken glass and fresh clothes out front.

    Officers are working to see if the death and the home are connected.

    Officers were called to the area around 4 am for a truck that was driving recklessly and have made contact with the driver to see if he saw anything.

    Feb. 1, 2019 7:11 am- Oklahoma City police are investigating after a body was found in the southeast metro on Friday morning.

    Police responded to the scene near SE 31st and Byers around 5:30 a.m. They say the body of a Native male was found with gunshot wounds.

    He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Police are considering the death a homicide. They have not released any details of a possible suspect.
