Oklahoma City police say two people are in custody relating to a stabbing that left one person dead in the west metro.

Police say officers were called to 301 S. Council Rd. Tuesday around 5:15 p.m. for the reported stabbing. Officers discovered 27-year-old Henry Gilberto Vicente who was dead on-scene, and another adult female, 32-year-old Lana Delodge, suffering from stab wounds. That woman remains in the hospital today.

Investigators believe a fight broke out between the two victims and 37-year-old Samuel Nino, Jr. and 35-year-old Jesse Nino, leading to the stabbing.

Police say following the stabbing, the suspects fled the scene and crashed into a motorcycle. The pair then fled that scene and were eventually taken into custody on I-40 near Agnew after police say they crashed into severe vehicles there as well.

Samuel Nino has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail while Jesse Nino was transported to a hospital with a knife wound.

Jesse Nino will be booked into jail when he's released from the hospital.

"At this point in the investigation, it's still early," Oklahoma City police Msgt. Gary Knight said. "It appears once he's released he will be booked in on a murder charge as well."

Vicente's death is Oklahoma City's 33rd homicide of 2018.
