OKCFD: Fire at metro book store under investigation

Oklahoma City Fire crews responded to a commercial fire alarm in the 7900 block of N. May Ave. about 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

On arrival firefighters found heavy smoke and fire in the St. Thomas More Books & Gifts store. Firefighters attacked the fire and, according to an OKCFD release, found the main part of the fire at the rear of the building.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Damage estimates were placed at $30,000 for the building and $25,000 for contents. There were no injuries reported.
