NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH)--Norman Mayor Breea Clark announced changes coming to Norman to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Clark announced on a video posted to the City of Norman's Facebook that starting Tuesday, all council meetings will be live-streamed on the city's YouTube channel and council members will be joining them electronically.

Starting Wednesday, free meals will be provided by Norman Public Schools to children 18 and under.

In addition, starting at 5 p.m. Monday, all barbershops, beauty parlors, health clubs, spas, and nail salons will be closed.

Norman stores will also implement social distancing protocols, meaning customers must be at least six feet apart even at check-out lines.
