Mustang teacher accused of larceny of controlled dangerous substance
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
A Mustang North Middle School teacher is accused of larceny from a house and larceny of a controlled dangerous substance.
Jennifer Leah Beaty, 39, was arrested on complaints of larceny into Oklahoma County jail on Sunday evening.
Mustang Public Schools is aware of the arrest, and Beaty has been suspended by the school district.
A school official says Beaty was hired over the summer and has been teaching in the district for two months.
Mustang Public Schools said in a statement it will cooperate fully with the police investigation, despite the alleged incident did not happen on school grounds.
