More than 165,000 Oklahomans have voted ahead of Tuesday's election
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
As the important mid-term election approaches, more than 160,000 Oklahomans have taken advantage of early voting and absentee ballots.
The Oklahoma State Election Board reports that approximately 165,600 Oklahomans have voted by mail or in early voting. Of those numbers, 107,100 came during the three day early voting period last week while 58,400 came by mail.
The party affiliations for those who have voted by mail and early are as follows:
- Republican - 50.8%
- Democrat - 40.7%
- Independent - 8.2%
- Libertarian - 0.3%
Polls are open Nov. 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
