Moore police arrest a suspect after a deadly shooting Wednesday night

UPDATE Thursday 10:30 a.m.

The Moore Police Department said they responded to a deadly shooting just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Multiple shots were reportedly heard near Southeast 14th and Morgan Drive.

Police said when they arrived on scene they found a male victim dead inside a home from gunshot wounds.

The alleged shooter had already left the scene, but police were able to verify a license plate.

Investigators said with the help of the Norman Police Department, officials tracked down 30-year-old Bobby Oliver within a couple hours of the incident.

He was found at a home in Norman and surrendered to police.

Oliver was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree burglary.

Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.

Moore police investigate a shooting that left one man dead near Southeast 15th and Morgan Drive Wednesday night.

Police said they arrested the suspect a few hours later at a family member's home.

The investigation continued into early Thursday morning when the medical examiner arrived.
