Man wanted in connection to Oklahoma City shooting in custody
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Oklahoma City police have arrested a man in connection to a metro shooting that put another person in the hospital.
Police say Maurice McClendon has been taken into custody. McClendon was wanted for his involvement in a shooting at a convenience store in the 2700 block of NE 23rd St. Video from the May 3 shooting shows McClendon shoot the victim in the face at point blank range.
That victim is still in the hospital, listed in serious condition.
McClendon was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on an Assault with a Deadly Weapon complaint. His bail was set at $20,000.
