A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at an Oklahoma City motel.

The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that Deyounta Rogers, 25, was taken into custody at approximately 5 p.m. April 13 at an apartment in the 6300 block of N. Meridian.

Rogers was wanted on a warrant for first degree murder in connection to the April 6 fatal shooting of Mark Anthony Harjo at the Executive Inn. Police are also searching for 27-year-old Ashley Tookalo in connection to Harjo's murder.

An arrest warrant shows that police spoke with a witness to the shooting who identified Tookalo being inside when the incident occurred.

The witness stated he was in the room with Tookalo when she stated her ride had arrived. She then opened the door and let a man armed with a pistol inside the room who stated "They are coming guns loaded!". A knock was then heard at the door and Tookalo opened it to let Harjo inside. Harjo was also armed and got into an altercation with the other armed man.

During the altercation, Harjo was shot and killed. Tookalo and the armed man fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet Impala. The witness told authorities he believed that Harjo had been "set up".

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.
