Multiple local law enforcement agencies searched an area of Pottawatomie County for a suspect wanted on drug and weapons charges. The search ended about 11 p.m. Wednesday when the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office reported the suspect, Ahmad Eli Jacene, was taken into custody in Seminole County.

The manhunt began went Jacene was spotted in Shawnee.

He led police on a chase before crashing his truck in the North Canadian River.

Jacene, was considered armed and dangerous, according to Sheriff Mike Booth. Investigators say Jacene also made threats on social media.

"I know at this point that we have this individual that has made threats to shoot law enforcement and himself, that we consider to be armed and dangerous." Booth said during the search.

As it started to get dark, deputies launched drones with infrared cameras, watching closely for heat signatures.

During the search, investigators had several calls from people saying they might have seen Jacene.

One told deputies he was wearing grey shorts and didn't have a shirt on.
