It's not too late for last-minute Valentine's shoppers
OKLAHOMA CITY —
Nothing says I love you like chocolate and flowers. The combo also makes for a perfect last-minute Valentine's Day treat.
Love is in the air at several Oklahoma City businesses. La Baguette Bistro and Bakery has a variety of sweet treats ready for those looking for something with sugar and spice.
"Obviously, it's all in heart shape,” said Owner Michael Buthion as he showed off their selection of baked goods.
With one day left until Valentine’s Day, Buthion says the bakery is stocked and ready for procrastinators.
Usually it's the guys; they wait until the last minute,” Buthion said. “They'll be rushing the day of to pick up any heart shape and such."
Local flower shops, like Trochta's Flowers and Garden Center, are also stocked up and ready for those hoping to place a last-minute delivery. But time is of the essence.
"We encourage them to get those orders in as early as possible,” said Justin Edwards, a designer at Trochta’s.
Both La Baguette and Trochta's are still taking orders by phone and online.
