Investigators at the scene of officer-involved shooting in Mannford (KTUL)

MANNFORD, Okla. (KTUL) -- Investigators are at the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Mannford in which a man was killed. It happened near the intersection of Greenbrier Circle and Greenwood Avenue.

Several law enforcement agencies are on the scene, including the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, as well as members of the Creek County District Attorney's Office.

OSBI Special Agent Marty Wilson says the man was involved in a disturbance in the same area Tuesday night and came back Wednesday to see a woman who is selling a car. The woman was concerned about the man and called police who then confronted him.

Wilson says the man was armed with a large knife and lunged at officers when they told him to drop it. Two officers fired, killing the man.

OSBI says Mark Allen Lunn, 48, has been identified the man who was killed in the officer-involved shooting.

The DA's office will determine if the shooting was justified.
