Home, travel trailer torched in Oklahoma City fire

Oklahoma City fire crews have knocked down a metro house fire.

Firefighters were called to the scene near S Walker and SW 53rd St. around 8:15 a.m. Crews reported heavy fire from the rear of the home and said the flames had spread to a travel trailer behind the structure.

Crews had blocked off the area around SW 53rd and Walker while they fight the fire. They are asking people to avoid the scene.

OKCFD officials say three adults and two children were uninjured, but will be displaced by the fire. Four dogs also survived the blaze, however two rabbits and a guinea pig died.
