House fire rekindles near Oklahoma Christian University

Firefighters are on scene of a fire at a home for the second time Friday morning.

Just after 10:21 a.m. Jan. 12 firefighters were called to a home in the 2400 block of Butternut Place. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy flames and smoke.

Firefighters then took a defensive position against the fire. By 11 a.m. the fire was extinguished. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Crews had previously been at the home and extinguished a fire early Friday morning.
