Gas line break causes building evacuations in downtown Oklahoma City

A gas line break has led to the evacuations of buildings in downtown Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Police Department reports that at approximately 10:41 a.m. May 16 a gas line was hit by construction crews in the 300 block of NW 6 Street.

Several buildings in the 700 and 600 blocks of N. Hudson have been evacuated as a precaution. Streets are blocked off in the area.
