Friday is the last day to register to vote in the important November election
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
Friday is the last day to register to vote for the important November election in Oklahoma!
Oklahomans will head to the polls Nov. 6 to determine a new governor and several other important state and national offices. Registration forms have to be postmarked by Oct. 12 to be processed by the election board. The local election board will then send out a voter registration card to show proof of eligibility. In order to register, you must fill out an Oklahoma Voter Registration Application. Download it here or pick one up at your local tag office.
You must provide the following on the application:
- Name and address
- Political affiliation
- Birth date
- Driver's license number (if you don't have a driver's license provide your Social Security Number)
You must sign and date the oath on the form, swearing that you are eligible to vote. Mail your completed application to the address on the form. If you complete the application at your local tag office, they will mail it to the State Election Board for you.
