FBI investigating fatal stabbing on tribal land in Caddo County

Federal authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing ion tribal land in southwest Oklahoma.

FBI spokesperson Andrea Anderson confirms that a man was found dead from multiple stab wounds Sept. 12 near an abandoned residence along 1st Street in Carnegie.

A second female victim was found at the residence with stab wounds. She has been transported to a local hospital and is being treated.

No arrests have been made at this time. The identities of those involved have not been released. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is assisting in the investigation.

Ali Nash lives a block from where the homicide occurred. She says she knew the victim and that his death has scared the community.

"This is a small town and we are on edge," Nash said.

Sandra Nix told FOX 25 she would be making sure her home is secure following the incident.

"Carnegie is a great community and everyone will be pulling together to pray for these families," Nix said.
