Police find woman safe after reported kidnapping; man's location unknown
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) —
Broken Arrow police say a woman reported as a possible kidnapping victim late Monday night has been found safe.
Officers responded to a domestic violence call and possible kidnapping around 9:30 p.m. to a home near 51st Street and North 30th Street. Police say 36-year-old Justin Korf was involved in a domestic dispute with 29-year-old Morgan Rower. Korf also interfered with a 911 call, according to police.
Police say early information led them to believe Korf forcibly took Rower from the home and drove off in a white 1999 Dodge Durango with Oklahoma tag BAX210. The vehicle was last seen going southbound from the area at a high rate of speed.
Investigators initially believed Rower was "imminent danger," but around noon police said they'd been in contact with both Rower and Korf. Police say they later found the woman at another home after receiving a tip. She is safe but Korf's location is still unknown.
