A woman was able to flag down a deputy driving by, after her son started choking. The deputy's body camera was rolling as the deputy saved him.

It happened in Tecumseh on June 6. The deputy with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office had just pulled in to a car wash to check what was happening. The 3-year-old's mother explains the boy is acting as though something is in his throat.

The deputy alerts dispatch to send an ambulance and then takes action. He has the boy lean forward and performs back blows.

"What did he take?" the deputy asks.

"It was a sucker," the mom says just before a quarter comes out of the boy's mouth.

The boy starts to get better quickly.
